About This Event
This three-night event celebrating the original trilogy will feature live staged readings of the classic films, culminating in a “May the 4th” Dance and Costume Party at Open Space Event Studios. Local performers will read and re-enact classic scenes from the films starting on Thursday, May 2nd, with A New Hope, followed by The Empire Strikes Back on May 3rd, and Return of the Jedi on May 4th.
An opening night reception will kick off the weekend event, featuring a performance from DJ Jazzy Jedi and the reveal of a pop-up Mos Eisley Cantina. Following the May 4th performance, there will be a dance party for all fans to join the cast and crew for a night of Star Wars fun. This 90’s inspired Star Wars Rave will include a live DJ, a raffle for Star Wars collectibles, and a costume contest.
